We invite you to enjoy a relaxing holiday filled with natural beauty from the peaceful Finnish nature. With us you will get amazed by culture from the medieval times. You will also get a glance inside the leading forest country´s actions in Lusto Forest Museum, all this while making ever-lasting memories with your family or friends.

Day 1 : Arriving to Lappeenranta and checking in at the hotel Scandic Lappeenranta. This is a day you can rest and explore around Lappeenranta or easily find some activities to do from Lappeenranta Harbor area, Myllysaari public beach or the centers´ shopping possibilities.

There is a lunch included in the price of the holiday in one of the hottest spots for eating and enjoying in Lappeenranta. The Kitchen offers a vast variety of choices in their lunch buffet suitable for all diets and tastes.

The car will be provided conveniently straight from the Lappeenranta Airport or the hotel, giving a hassle-free start for your holiday.

Day two: On day two, you make your way up to Puumala area (1,5h drive) to enjoy the natural beauty of one of the clearest waters at Lake Saimaa. In Puumala you will arrive to Sahanlahti resort, a popular boat and Caravan destination offering relaxing environment with activities for all ages (saunas, escape room, variety of outdoor activities, restaurants etc.).Accommodation at Lakeland superior cottage.

Day three: During day three you will have all the time to keep on relaxing and to enjoy your holiday. You can either utilize the wide variety of services at Sahanlahti or head down to center of Puumala (about 8km) to have an afternoon coffee in one of the highest coffee shops in Saimaa area looking over the forestry lake views.

In the evening there is a dinner included in the price in a cozy restaurant on the shore of Saimaa with half of the restaurant built on top of the lake.

Day four: On day four you will drive to see the Olavinlinna castle (1.15h drive) to enjoy the history and have a look into the medieval Saimaa life. You will have a dinner at Museum restaurant Olavinlinna also included in the price of your holiday.

After enjoying the historical site and having your stomach full of delicious local food you should make your way to Harjunportti Resort (30 min drive) where you will have two days to relax again. Accommodation at well-equipped Tuunaantupa cottage with kitchen and own sauna.

Day five: Day five will be spent with various activity possibilities in the National nature scene of Finland. You will also have the promised visit to Lusto Forest Museum to see the wonders of Forests in the north of Europe.

In Lusto you will get to experience how the forest have been utilized throughout the history and maybe can even try to make your own bark bread out of the inner layers of over 50 years old pinewoods.

Day six: On day six you will drive back down to Lappeenranta, but this time stay further away from the city in Holiday Club Saimaa Spa Resort. There you will have time to enjoy you last days in Finland with the services of the biggest Spa resort in South-East Finland.

In Holiday Club Saimaa Spa Resort, you are close to the rapids of Vuoksi, that used to run free as the fourth largest rapids in Europe. There are rapids shows held at 6pm on most summer nights where they let the rapids flow freely with a show of lights and music.

Next to the rapids there is also a historical Kruununpuisto park that provides the visitor with ancient marks from the latest Ice Age. This is an interesting site to visit together with the Vuoksi rapids.

Day seven: Day seven could be spent with different activities in the Resort area and the evening of the day could be reserved for a perfect ending to your relaxing holiday in the Spa of the Resort. There are many things to do for the children from water slides and play setting in the water. For the adults they offer experiences from a Sauna world to different kinds of treatments available.

Day eight: The final day of the holiday is reserved for the drive back to Lappeenranta and finishing off the holiday with smiles and new experiences to share back at home.
