Marieham, sometimes called ´the town of the thousand Linden trees` is a large small town but has a wide selection of museums, hotels, restaurants and bars to offer to its visitors.
The cruise ships from Finland, Sweden and Estonia arrive here so there are arrivals and departures many times a day. The town was built around shipping and some findings indicate that Ålanders were probably involved in trade and commerce already in the Viking age.

Old Viking graves and castle ruins attract many visitors. The sea with its islands and sailing boats in the horizon give you unforgettable holiday memories.The world famous archipelago with its beauty and tranquility cannot be experienced anywhere.
