Surrounded by beautiful rapids of the Raudanjoki river, lush forest and pristine nature – the Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge is a perfect place for couples, adult with a child or anyone who wants to enjoy best of Lapland with your loved one!

DAY 1: Arrival in Lapland

• Afternoon arrival to Rovaniemi
• Transfer to Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge via Wild Nordic Safari House, where winter equipment is given out (Thermal clothing set: overalls, boots, woolen socks, gloves)
• Check-in to your cabin
• 18.00 – 20.00 Half-board dinner at the Lodge

DAY 2: Happy Husky ride and Private Sauna Pampering

• 08.00 – 10.00 Breakfast at the Lodge, sleep in as long as you like!
• Dress up for the first adventure
• 10.30 – 12.00 Husky Safari in the Wilderness Lodge

When you arrive to the husky camp at the Wilderness Lodge you will first be shown how to control the husky sled. You will drive your own husky team (2 person on 1 sleigh) for approximately 5km/20 – 30mins depending on the weather, with an opportunity to stop halfway through to change drivers. This tour is a great taste of the world of dog sledding! After your ride with the huskies we will have lots of opportunities for photos and petting the friendly dogs. Our guide will also explain more about the huskies and their lifestyle, while enjoying hot berry juice and cookies by the warm fire in a Lappish teepee. Program duration is approximately 1.5hours.

• Free time to try forest ski hiking on your own
• 17.00 – 17.45 Private Sauna time in Riverside Sauna to pamper yourself

For Her: Sauna Arctica Seductive Sauna Creme Mint Chocolate & Honey – This sauna creme combines wonderful soothing and relaxing effects of chocolate with the refreshing properties of Finnish mint oil. Mint oil tightens the pores, while chocolate and honey leaves the skin feeling softer and more supple. Apply while in sauna and let the cream take effect – you will feel relaxed and your skin will be left silky smooth! Rinse with clean water after the sauna session.

For Him: Sauna Arctica Smoothing Sauna Creme Tar & Honey – This cream with pine tar and honey cleanses, revitalizes and promotes balance of the skin. Birch tar and meadowsweet relieve itching; skin irritation; and muscle and joint pain. Along with honey, tar tar and meadowsweet promote muscle recovery after exercise. The Sauna Cream is also suitable for the care of the scalp. Pine tar creates a unique, sensitive and mystical atmosphere in the sauna thanks to its smoky scent. Allow the sauna creams to absorb and penetrate the skin – after the honey treatment, you will feel relaxed and your skin is silky smooth! Then rinse the skin with clean water.

DAY 3: Snowmobile Safari, Santa Claus Village and Cuddle up in Reindeer Sleigh

• 08.00 – 10.00 Breakfast at the Lodge, sleep in as long as you like!
• Free morning in the Lodge, dress up for the days adventure
• 11.30 – 12.00 Safari pick up, transfer and preparation
• 12.00 – 14.00 Snowmobile Safari to the Arctic Circle Forest (2 on 1 snowmobile)

This tour will give you a chance to ride your own snowmobile in the Arctic Circle area. You will enjoy the beautiful wintery scenery whilst driving through the local forests, where opportunities for photos are abundant during short stops we make. The duration of the program is 2 hours, including safety brief and instructions. The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 1 hour and 30 – 40 minutes. Average speed during our short tours is limited due to the safety and traffic regulations.

• Free time in Santa Claus Village on your own: Visit Santa Claus and all the other sites! Recommended places for late lunch: Nova Skyland for buffet, Santa Claus Cafe for handmade gourmet burgers, Loft Cafe for sandwiches and cakes
• 16.00 or 18.00 Shuttle bus back to lodge
• 18.00 – 20.00 Half-board dinner at the
• 19.15 – 20.30 Evening Reindeer Safari

The safari takes place at a small reindeer camp at in the middle of the Lappish nature. At the farm you will meet real reindeer herders who share their experiences of life hand-in-hand with nature. The reindeer sleigh ride takes about 45 minutes, couples are cosily cuddled up in the reindeer sleigh, sliding silently in the dark snowy forest. After ride we head back indoors for warm snacks and stories of reindeer herding and wilderness life.

DAY 4: Transfer to the Airport
